Terms & Conditions
California Advocates For Education:
1. Scope of Services
We provide educational advocacy and support services designed to assist families and school districts in navigating educational systems, with a focus on ensuring appropriate services, accommodations, and educational outcomes for students. Our services may include but are not limited to: Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting support, 504 Plan assistance, School district communication support, Educational consultation and referrals, Parent coaching and EducationAdvocacy for families activating special education benefits under California and Federal law

2. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal, educational, and health-related information shared with us. No information will be disclosed to third parties without your express written consent, except as required by law.

3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to: Provide accurate and complete information relevant to the student’s educational history and needs, Participate actively in the advocacy process, communicate respectfully and in a timely manner, and notify us of any changes to scheduled meetings or services at least 24 hours in advance

4. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services at any time, with written notice. Any unpaid fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain the responsibility of the Client.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for services will be provided in a written agreement prior to the initiation of services. Payment is due as specified in the service agreement. Late payments may result in suspension of services.

6. Cancellations and Refunds
Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds for prepaid services will be issued at our discretion and are not guaranteed.
7. No Legal Representation
We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice or legal representation. Any information provided is for educational and advocacy purposes only. For legal matters, we encourage Clients to consult with a qualified attorney.

8. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any outcomes, including educational placements or decisions made by school districts. Our role is to advocate and support, not to guarantee specific results. You agree to hold us harmless from any liability arising from the use of our services.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

10. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
